Windows 11 Slow
Many Windows 11 users are still reporting slow performance and high RAM usage after the 24H2 update on older devices. Microsoft addressed some performance issues in the June 2026 KB5094126 update with a new “Low Latency Profile” feature. Until a wider fix rolls out, users can use the official Microsoft PC Manager and Copilot AI to manually boost speed.
It is the month of May 2024 when I shifted from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and honestly it was a completely new experience for me. Because then
I was very surprised to see Windows 11’s speed, accuracy and power, because this was a much more upgraded Windows than Windows 10. It is not only about looks,
but they have made very big changes in the internal system and performance as well. Windows 11 has been made keeping today’s new processors and hardware in mind.
Why is Windows 11 Slow and How to Fix It with AI?

If I talk about power, then Windows 11 works in the background in a very advanced way because when I was on Windows 10, then due to RAM management my PC used to hang many times.
Because apps, due to memory, used to delay opening in Windows 10 and also used to hang. But when I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11, then my experience of its RAM management felt very smooth. Because if your RAM used to fill up to 90% in Windows 10, then Windows 11 uses RAM more intelligently to run the same apps
and because of this the PC does not hang. But as they say, the sun does not always shine. The same happened with me. Because Windows 11’s speed also does not stay boosted always.
With time it also becomes slow. And today I will tell you how you can boost its speed again with the help of AI?
How to Fix Windows 11 Slow Using 7 AI Tricks?
Windows 11 is a very powerful operating system, but I can say from my experience that when, gradually, its background processes and cache files accumulate or wrong settings happen, then it becomes very slow.
If you are also troubled by this problem like me, then now you do not need to go to any software or hardware shop. You can boost your PC at home with the help of AI and some smart tools.
And I will tell you those 7 amazing AI and technical tricks, which will give new life to your laptop/computer.
1.Use Windows Copilot AI
When I used Windows 11 for the first time, I was surprised to see that they have given built-in AI. And this AI’s name is Copilot.
When I used this AI I noticed that it not only answers my questions, but also helps to control my PC.
-
How to use it?
To use Windows’ AI I press Windows + C on my keyboard or click the Copilot icon given on the taskbar and then when I have to take any important action I write a prompt for it which I have written below.
I wrote this prompt to increase my computer’s speed and performance. 😊
-
Prompt for AI:
Type: Optimize my PC for better performance or Turn on Focus Session to speed up Windows
Now what will happen is that the AI will analyze the system’s useless settings by itself and will take direct necessary actions to improve performance.
2.Microsoft PC Manager AI Powered Cleanup
Microsoft’s own PC Manager tool is a great AI software which takes care of system health. And I free its RAM in one click which comes with the Boost feature.
First I downloaded this software from Microsoft’s official website.
Then I opened the software and clicked on the Boost button. And it started deleting temporary files by itself.
I also used another feature of it called Health Checkup and it scanned all the junk with the help of AI and cleaned everything.
But keep in mind that always download this software from the official link and I have kept that official link for you which I always use.

3.How to close unnecessary apps with the help of AI?
Whenever I turn on my PC, many useless apps start running in the background by themselves, because of which my PC’s booting time increases.
And this sometimes makes me very angry because sometimes even one minute is very important for you and at that time this 1 minute of booting time feels like 10 hours. But Windows 11’s new system monitors them according to AI behavior.
How to do: Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
Go to Startup Apps on the left.
Right-click on apps like Spotify, Cortana, Steam which you do not need and Disable them. This will reduce the load on RAM a lot.
4.Activate Storage Sense
Windows 11 also has an intelligent feature called Storage Sense which works like AI in the background. And honestly I like this feature a lot.
Because it itself sees which files are useful for my work or not and automatically deletes those files. To start it first I went to Settings by pressing Windows + I.
Then went to System and clicked on the Storage option. There I turned the Storage Sense option On. Inside it you can also set the schedule so that Recycle Bin and temporary files are cleaned automatically every week or month.
5.Clean dangerous malware with AI
Many times I downloaded paid software or cracked versions of games for free from third-party websites in search of free stuff. And malware and viruses also got downloaded with them on my computer. And these viruses or malware run in the background, which use 100% of CPU.
And I did not even know about it. And in this way such viruses also corrupt data. But Windows 11’s own security AI protection can catch them easily. To activate this I first searched Windows Security in the Start menu and opened it.
Then clicked on Virus & threat protection. And then went to Scan Options and chose Full Scan or Microsoft Defender Antivirus (offline scan) and clicked Scan Now. After that it will remove new threats using the AI cloud database.
6.Update Graphics Driver with AI tools
I love gaming and video editing on my computer. And many times when I did not update its drivers, the system started lagging. If the system is lagging then your graphics driver may be old. NVIDIA and AMD both give AI optimization like DLSS and AI tuning in their drivers.
How to do: If my PC has an NVIDIA card, then download GeForce Experience or the new NVIDIA App. For AMD use AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition.
These tools used AI to optimize my games and apps to the best settings according to my hardware.

7.Increase Virtual RAM
Many times when I feel RAM shortage on my PC I make part of my storage SSD or HDD into virtual RAM. Windows’ intelligent system uses it like backup memory.
How to do: Search Advanced System Settings in the Start menu.
In the Advanced tab go to Settings under Performance.
Again, go to the Advanced tab and click Change under Virtual Memory.
Uncheck Automatically manage paging file size for all drives, choose Custom Size and set the size according to your RAM.
What are my own thoughts?
After following these 7 tricks step-by-step, do restart your PC once. With correct use of Windows 11’s AI features and Microsoft’s official tools your system will become as fast as new without any risk.
But always remember one thing: always avoid third-party fraudulent softwares and use only the official links given. Because cracked software or games will do you more harm than good.
